The syllabus will comprises of one analytical Reasoning section, one reading Comprehension section and two logical reasoning sections. The detailed LSAT syllabus is mentioned below:
It will measure the ability to understand a structure of relationships and to draw logical conclusions about that structure. Candidates will be asked to reason deductively from a set of rules & statements or that describes relationships among persons, events, etc.
This section checks the ability to analyze, complete arguments and critically evaluate. Test taker has to read and comprehend a short passage, then answer a question about it.
This section will contain four sets of reading questions. Each section will consist of a selection of reading material, followed by four to nine questions that test reading and reasoning abilities.
Registered candidates will be able to download their admit card through online mode. It will be available from 22nd May to 1st June 2019.
LSAT admit card will contain details like exam date, time, test centre name & address, candidates details & exam instructions.
Candidates have to bring one original ID proof on the exam day. Candidates may carry any one IDs from the Driving License, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, etc.
The LSAC will provide the LSAT Result 2019 in June 2019. The result can be check via online mode. LSAT score card will be used for admission in 2019 session only.

LSAT India 2017 – Pearson VUE on behalf of USA based Law School Admission Council (LSAC) has announced Law School Admission Test (LSAT) India on September 14, 2016, along with online registration process for LSAT India application form. LSAT India 2017 is a law entrance exam conducted offline (paper-pencil based) for admissions to five-year integrated undergraduate and two-year postgraduate law programmes in as many as 76 law schools of India. This year, Pearson VUE administered LSAT India, which is a standardized test of reading and reasoning skills will be conducted on April 23, 2017. The paper-pencil based law school admission test for India will have as many as 100 questions and can be attempted within two hours and thirty minutes (90 minutes). Candidates seeking admissions in the undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes across the participating Indian law schools need to apply for LSAT India 2017 by April 10, 2017.

LSAT India Admission Process 2017
Pearson VUE administers LSAT for admissions into Indian law schools. LSAT India 2017 admission process has begun with the notification of the law school admission test on September 14. The application form of LSAT India 2017 has also started with the admission notification. There shall be an entrance test held on April 23, 2017 for shortlisting candidates among those who will be applying for LSAT India 2017. Based on the results of LSAT India 2017 and scores secured by the candidates, each of the 76 India law schools will be preparing a merit list for admitting the qualifying candidates.
LSAT India Eligibility Criteria 2017
Pearson VUE has notified LSAT India 2017 eligibility criteria on September 14, 2016 for those seeking admissions through the law school admission test. As per the eligibility criteria of LSAT India 2017, applicants need to be a citizen of India and should have qualified 12th board examination of 10+2 education system of CBSE or any other equivalent education board, if applying for undergraduate law programmes including BA LLB. Those applying for postgraduate law programmes including LLM need to be an LL.B degree holder with minimum qualifying marks. The qualifying marks, however, shall vary for each of the participating colleges across India.
LSAT India Application Form 2017
Pearson VUE has opened the application form window of LSAT India 2017 on September 14, 2016. Candidates applying for LSAT India 2017 need to first register online through the official link. Candidates will have to enter their name, date of birth, e-mail id and mobile number besides setting a password for online registration of LSAT India 2017. Once the candidate has registered for the law school admission test, a confirmation mail will be sent to his/her registered mail account. Next the candidate will have to fill all fields of their LSAT India application form 2017 and proceed to the next step of application fee payment. Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs. 3800 against LSAT India 2017 application fee using any of the payment options– Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque/Pay Order. The duly filled-in applications of LSAT India should be submitted online only by the last date, i.e. April 10, 2017 (11:59 pm), after which no application forms will be entertained under any circumstances.
LSAT India Syllabus 2017
The Pearson VUE administered offline entrance exam for admissions to Indian law schools is a standardised test for testing reading and reasoning skills. Dan Bernstine, LSAC President says, “LSAT India syllabus is so designed that it does not test prior legal knowledge, mathematical knowledge, grammar or current affairs, rather has holistic exam content.” As per LSAT India 2017 syllabus, an aspirant must prepare for questions which comprise analytical and logical abilities besides reading comprehensions that are considered as essential skills by LSAC to become a successful lawyer.
LSAT India Admit Card 2017
Applicants can download their admit card of LSAT India 2017 from April 15 till April 22 by logging into their registered accounts of law school admission test. LSAT India 2017 admit card will be the hall tickets to appear in the law entrance. LSAT India 2017 admit card (hall ticket) will mention the examination and candidature details including exam name, programme level, exam duration, timings and venue besides the roll number, name and date of birth of the candidates. In case any candidate finds any mistake in their LSAT India admit card 2017 details including their names and date of birth, they need to bring it to the notice of exam officials, immediately and get it rectified. No applicant in any case will be allowed to appear in the admission test without a valid LSAT India 2017 admit card.
LSAT India Exam Pattern 2017
USA based LSAC has announced the exam pattern of LSAT India 2017, which mentions that candidates will be examined upon good thinking skills, therefore there will be no questions for assessing prior legal knowledge or mathematical skills or updates on general knowledge and current affairs. LSAT India 2017 will be held on April 23. The offline question booklet will have as many as 100 questions of objective (multiple-choice) nature. The applicants can attempt the LSAT India 2017 question within 90 minutes where they have to mark the most appropriate choice among those given against each question. The Pearson VUE administered entrance exam will cover three parts– Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension. The Logical Reasoning will be further divided into parts, thence dividing the LSAT India 2017 question paper into a total of four sections. Each section will need to be attempted in a time limit of 35 minutes. No candidate will be allowed to attempt the question of other sections, after or before the commencement of respective section. There is no negative marking for any wrong answer, therefore it is advised not to leave any question unmarked.
LSAT India Result and Score 2017
Pearson VUE will be declaring LSAT India 2017 result on May 20. The test scores and result of LSAT India 2017 will be reported on a percentile basis. As per LSAT India 2017 result, each test-takers’ performance will be compared within others of his/her group, classified as five-year integrated undergraduate and two-year post graduate. There is no specific eligibility criteria required to be fulfilled in order to apply for LSAT 2016. However, candidates will be required to meet the LSAT eligibility criteria 2016 laid down by each of the respective colleges they wish to apply. In most cases, international law schools require the candidates to have completed undergraduation.
LSAT 2016 consists of five sets of 35-minute multiple-choice questions out of which only four contribute to the actual score. The four sections that are scored include one Reading Comprehension, one analytical reasoning section and two logical reasoning sections. In addition, a 35-minute writing test will be held at the end of the exam which will be unscored. Hence, the total duration of the test is 3 hours 30 minutes. The score scale for LSAT 2016 ranges from 120 to 180 with 120 being the lowest to 180 being the highest score a test taker can earn.

Candidates must save and download the result for further admission procedure. LSAT INDIA Score card will contain the evaluation of the overall performance of candidates. The score card will be the ultimate one as it will contain both the rank and the scores in percentile. The scores will be mentioned in percentile on the result. The cut offs will not be mentioned in the score card because the cut off margins will be different for different colleges enlisted under LSAT India.
The scores of LSAT India will be determined on the basis of the performance of each candidate of his/her stream. In other words, the course /stream refer to five year or three years LLB or post-graduate law discipline. Furthermore, if any candidate scores 83.6%, it does mean that candidate has answered that percentage of questions correctly in the respective entrance. Besides the performance of an aspirant in the written test, the score also determines the relative intensity and the capability of thinking critically compare to the other aspirants.

The LSAT exam is held four times a year at assigned test centres across the world. It is usually held in February, June, September/October and December. Aspirants and check the available exam dates and register for the LSAT 2016 international test.
