he National Law University (NLU)-Delhi has announced the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2017 exam dates on its official website, the link for which is http://www.nludelhi.ac.in/ailet.aspx
As per reports, the examination will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 3 pm to 4.30 pm at various centers across the nation.
List of courses offered:
- Bachelors of Arts Bachelors of Law (BALLB): Five year duration
- Master of Law (LLM): One year duration
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
BALLB (Hons) programme:
All the candidates interested in applying for this course need to be intermediate (class 12) pass from a recognised state board/university with a minimum of 50 per cent.
However, the candidates appearing for class 12 examinations are also eligible to apply for AILET 2017 exam, only if they meet the above conditions at the time of admission.
Candidates should be less than 21 years of age or 23 years in case of the SC/ST candidates.
LLM programme: Candidates interested in applying should possess a degree in Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or an equivalent degree from a recognised university with not less than 55 per cent in aggregate.
All the candidates interested in applying for this course need to possess a Master's degree in law from any recognised university/institute with not less than 55 per cent or its equivalent (50 per cent in case of SC/ST/ persons with disability). or
Candidates should possess a degree in law and a Masters degree with MPhil in social sciences or humanities of any recognised university with not less than 55 per cent or its equivalent. or
Given that the candidates with qualifications in social sciences and humanities may be admitted to the program if they wish to pursue research in the discipline of law with a special focus on Public Policy of Law.

AILET has 150 questions for 150 marks that must be attempted within 1 hour 30 minutes.
The exam will consist of five sections:
